Why Oregon?

Our experience with eclipse tours has shown us that being in the area of greatest eclipse (longest duration of totality) is not always the best place to be to see the eclipse, especially if weather predictions for that area is not as good as other areas under the totality path.

While there are no guarantees with weather (even sites predicted to have good weather can get clouded out), spending time looking at weather forecast maps and talking with knowledgeable people in the local area of the eclipse helps decide where the best chance for clear weather is. For this eclipse Oregon is one of the best choices.
